Boot fitting

The shoe fits
like a glove

Who has never felt pain in their ski boots on the most beautiful, snow-covered slopes? Most of us know the feeling of frozen feet or the desire to take a break to take off our ski boots for a moment. Often the ski day is even shortened because the ski boots hurt or we are cold and tired. But that doesn't have to be the case! Boot fitting is the solution.

Step 1

The analysis of the foot

The foot analysis is very important: the foot measurement in Mondopoint, the measurement of the sides and the width of the metatarsal bones, the height of the foot and the shape of the heel. We do this extremely accurately with the Sidas footprint computer.

Step 2

Your insole

A customized mass insole gives you stability. The insole offers comfort, stabilizes movements and adapts to your foot type (flat foot, normal or hollow foot). Your foot is supported by your insole and the optimal pressure distribution over the entire footbed reduces the fatigue effect.

Tip

The forgotten ski sock

The quality of the socks plays a much bigger role than we think. They are able to regulate the temperature inside the shoe and thus combat the cold. They should be technical, anatomical and appropriate to your size. Note: The thicker the sock, the more you lose sensation.

What you should look out for: A thin but warm and breathable sock.

Tip

The ski boot heater

Cold feet are a thing of the past! We have had Sidas heating products in our range for years. Heated socks, heated gloves and NEW heated functional jackets make skiing possible right up to the end of the piste.
